30 Day Return Policy
30 Day Policy applies to most items sold on Mariogasm
All physical items sold and shipped by Mariogasm except Collector’s Edition Items are eligible to be returned for a refund for 30 days after your date of delivery
The following Terms and Conditions apply to everything we sale that are not Collector’s Editions Items with exceptions made for Collector’s Edition Items as described in the Collector’s Editions Items 3 Day Return Policy.
- The 30 day return period for a refund begins the day of your delivery according to your tracking number.
- You are responsible for the cost to pack and ship your item back to us.
- Refunds will only be issued to the original form of payment.
- If the original payment method is unavailable you have the option of store credit or product exchange.
- In the case of a product being returned damaged or incomplete we may at our discretion issue a partial or reduced refund amount.
- Please view your packing list for your order and make sure that you return all items.
- If any of your items were shipped to you in original packaging (e.g. game drives, boxed retro consoles) be sure to return the original packaging or console box.
- If an item is damaged or missing please let us know in advance.
- If we issue a reduced refund amount due to your return being damaged or incomplete we will provide you with pictures and a written explanation why your refund amount was reduced.
- We will process your refund within 2 business days of receiving and verifying your return.
- Our shipping costs are not refundable even if you bought an item with Free or Discounted Shipping.
- The payment processing fees that we pay to process your orders payment are not refundable.
- Shipping and payment processing costs will be deducted from your refund total.
- Typical payment processing fees are 3% to 6% of your order total.
- Domestic shipping costs are typically $8 to $18.
- International shipping costs can be much higher and things like Tariffs and Import Taxes are not refundable under any circumstance.
- You will be provided an itemized breakdown of your return including the costs associated with processing your order and your estimated refund amount.

See The 3 Day Return Policy For Collector’s Edition Consoles
You purchased a Game Drive for a Modded Wii that requires some setup for $119 and you paid with your card. For whatever reason it doesn’t work out and you return the drive. Your refund would look similar to this:
| $119 Paid Subtract the 3% fee we were charged to process your payment ~ $3.57 Subtract what it cost us to ship you your item. Currently for a Game Drive to a U.S. address ~ $9.60 Your total refund would be approximately $105.83 back to your original payment method. |
Remember that you are responsible for the cost of shipping your item back to us.
If you think you may return an item like a Game Drive or anything else that was shipped to you in retail packaging be sure to return the retail packaging also.
We typically charge a $15 to $30 fee to accept the return of a retail item sent to you with original packaging that is returned to us without the packaging.
We may charge you up to $99 to accept a boxed retro console return without its box or we may at our discretion decline to accept the return. (e.g. boxed Wii’s, handhelds, DS, 3DS, PSP sold with original box or packaging that are not Collector’s Editions.)
How The Return For Refund Process Works
Notify us you wish to return your order here: Start A Return or by replying to your order confirmation email you received when you placed your order.
Please allow us up to 24 hours to issue your Return Authorization including instructions on returning your order and your estimated refund amount.
When we receive your return, your order status will change from “Completed” back to “Processing” and you will receive an automated email informing you of this.
Please allow us 2 business days to process your order return and issue your refund.
If there are any issues with your return that affect your estimated refund amount we will reach out to you during the 2 business day processing period.
Your return has been processed and your refund has been issued to your original payment method. Your order status will change from “Processing” to “Refunded” or “Partially Refunded” and you will receive an automated mail with your refund details.
If you paid with a card our payment processor will process your refund within moments of us issuing it. If you paid with Amazon Pay they will process your refund overnight.
Either way please allow up to 5 business days for your bank to process and credit your refund back to your account.
In the rare event that it’s been more than 5 business days after we have issued your refund and it has not been credited back to your bank account please reach out to us for assistance.

All Collector’s Edition Items are only eligible for a refund if you let us know you have an issue within 3 days or 72 hours of your delivery and returns of Collector’s Edition Items are subject to the following Terms and Conditions:
- Collector’s Edition Items or purchases may only be returned if the item you received is substantially not as described from its product listing.
- You must let us know within 72 hours of receiving the item that you wish to return it. (Strict Policy, No Exceptions).
- You must document what about the item or purchase that is not as described with photos and a written description and send us this information in your return request. (Strict Policy, No Exceptions).
- You are purchasing a Collector’s Edition Item, a previously used or owned item, in part based on our description or rating of the items condition (e.g. like new, mint, excellent, good, fair, etc.).
- To purchase the item you must agree that our item condition ratings are subjective to our opinion.
- You may disagree with our opinion of the items condition rating after receiving the item; however disagreeing with us in regards to our rating of the items condition is not grounds to return the item as not as described.
- You may request photos or images of collector’s edition items before making your purchase. Any images of the item we send you will include the items serial number.
- If you have requested and received images of a Collector’s Edition Item before making your purchase and the item you receive is in substantially different condition than the photos then you may request to return the item as not as described subject to the same terms as described above with an exception made for the following:
- The item has substantial flaws, scratches, or defects that we did not disclose to you in the images.
- If you have requested and received images of a Collector’s Edition Item before making your purchase and the item you receive is in substantially different condition than the photos then you may request to return the item as not as described subject to the same terms as described above with an exception made for the following:

- Please understand we only send images in advance of purchase for Collector’s Edition Items only. Everything we sale else is subject to our 30 day return policy, so if you are unhappy with a non Collector’s Edition purchase just return it.
- Please know and understand that we photograph and document every Collector’s Edition Item we sale including its serial number and condition before shipping it.
- Please don’t attempt a fraudulent return.
- Due to the value of Collector’s Editions Items we pursue criminal charges in your local jurisdiction in the event of an attempted fraudulent return.
- Please understand we only send images in advance of purchase for Collector’s Edition Items only. Everything we sale else is subject to our 30 day return policy, so if you are unhappy with a non Collector’s Edition purchase just return it.
- Definition of: Substantially Not As Described as used in the above described policy: The item you receive is the wrong model, wrong color, is broken, is missing parts, does not function or power on.
- Definition of: A Fraudulent Return as used in the above described policy: You break any law to return your item.
Anything not explicitly mentioned above in regards to Collector’s Edition Items refunds (e.g. refund to original purchase method, store credit for refund, our discretion in issuing a refund, fees involved with your refund, the process and everything else) is governed and dictated by the terms of our 30 Day Return Policy as described above.
30 Days For A Product Exchange
Does Not Apply To Collector’s Edition Items or Purchases; You have 72 hours on Collector’s Edition Items.

- In the event that your product is out of stock or discontinued we will offer you an alternative product of equal value or issue you store credit in the form of a coupon code for the return items value.
- Coupon codes for returned items are good for 1 year.
- Coupon codes have no cash value other than the redeemable value of the coupon code at Mariogasm.
- If it has been more than 30 days and you experience a failure with one of our products please reach out to us ~ We want to help and we want your games and products to work.
